FBISCAAA History

The FBI Springfield Citizens Academy program began in 2004. Following the graduation of the 2005 class, the first FBISCAAA Board of Directors was created and made up of graduates from the FBI Springfield Citizens Academy class of 2004 & 2005. This prominent organization has grown to over 100 alumni members providing members with resources, training, information, and technical assistance supporting the use of best practices, priorities and the mission needs of the FBI; educating local communities about federal law enforcement issues and challenges; and undertaking other activities in consultation with the local field office head that are consistent with FBICAAA priorities and with the mission needs of the FBI.
