FBISCAAA Annual Meetings

FBISCAAA Annual Meetings December 7, 2023

The 2023 FBISCAAA Annual Meeting was a big success with Board Members and guest enjoying the event. We were honored to have SAC David Nanz, FBI Springfield Division, speak to the group about recent progress and the 2024 focus.

This year's annual meeting was special due to the key note speaker, Brad Ware, discussing his upcoming retirement at the beginning of 2024 and all of his adventures while in the Community Outreach Specialist at the FBI Springfield Division for the past 15 years.

 FBISCAAA Lee Milner

Award of Excellence

The highlight of the evening was a special award given to Lee Milner who graduated the FBI Springfield Citizen's Academy in 2009.  He then served as President of the FBISCAAA and continues to serve the organization in multiple capacities. Lee volunteers time and wonderful photography skills to capture event photos of FBISCAAA events, graduations, annual dinners, academy activities, and other charitable events in Springfield. Tara Matheson, stated, “You can always easily identify Lee because he is always holding his camera and taking amazing photos of FBISCAAA activities.” Tara proudly mentioned, “this is the first year for the Lee Milner Award of Excellence  and we proudly present this pretigious recognition to our 2022 winner Lee Milner.  From this point forward, FBISCAAA will present the Lee Milner Award of Excellence to other deserving recipients in the future. Next time you see Lee Milner, please help us to recognize his outstanding work by congratulating him directly!"
